Waldorf Martial Arts One Day Only Holiday Sale
I’m so excited to announce our 2016 Holiday Sale! This year we’re going all out to bring you awesome martial arts equipment and gifts your whole family will love (and some they really need!). We’ll have on hand new WMA Logo Hoodies, Sweats, and T-shirts as well as Logo training and sparring!
From high quality safety gear and at home training equipment to hundreds of dollars in savings on tuition, we’ve really pulled out all of the stops. We’re really, really excited about the sale – we know you’ll love it!
If you need to get a second uniform, replace that worn out mouthpiece, or finally get a new headgear (you know, they’re not supposed to cut off circulation to the brain ;)), we can help at the Holiday Sale.
The Sale is Saturday, November 19th from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
4 HOURS ONLY!
Here’s the deal: We can only do this kind of sale for so long – the discounts and incentives are just too good to have available all of the time, so we only have the sale from 10am-2pm. Every year we have people try to purchase after the cutoff and the answer is NO, so please be sure to make it to the sale itself!
We’ll schedule discreet pickup if you’re trying to surprise someone with a gift, and even let family and friends make phone orders. If they call between 10 and 2 they’ll get the Holiday Sale prices and discounts. I mean, why not hit up grandma for some cool karate gear, right?
Anyway, we’re really, really excited about the sale, as if you can’t tell, and we hope you are too! We’ll be announcing it in class over the next few weeks as we get ready for it.
If you have any questions, please let us know. See you at the sale!
Competition Team
The WMA Competition Team
“Competition Builds Confidence. Confidence Creates Leaders in Life!”
We, at WMA, have always felt that competition brings the best out in a person. And while winning is one objective of competition, it is not the only one. Whether we win or lose, competition enables us to test our skills at a higher level against competitors with which we don’t normally train. It develops skills that cannot be obtained any other way. Skills such as confidence, courage, composure, discipline, focus, patience, and respect. And let’s not forget that it’s a TON of FUN and a GREAT way to make NEW friends!
There are a number of benefits to being a member of the team:
- Increased training sessions.
- Participate in a more intense, higher level of training.
- Training with our school’s most talented students and Champion Black Belts.
- Members are able to wear competition team uniform and sprawl MMA training shorts (during Team practices).

Also, competitors learn about
- Good sportsmanship.
- Working together and bonding as a team.
- Winning with humility and losing with honor and respect.
- Overcoming the fear and nervousness of performing in front of a large group of people, the fear of getting hurt, and the fear of losing.
- “Mental Toughness”; that is, how to handle pain and fear under pressure.
While these are some tough lessons to learn they are also valuable lessons . . . Life-lessons that will benefit team members for the rest of their lives.
The WMA Competition Team accepts all students who are willing to work hard, attend competitions in the Mid-Atlantic Region and who have a positive attitude and enjoy the spirit of competition.
