A parent sends us a letter of thanks:
“Mrs. C., You and Mr. C have become part of the family and Tae Kwon Do has shaped our son into what he is today and the lessons learned will carry him far in adulthood.  We are eternally grateful. You know the  apprehensions of having a son and what kind of man he will be, how he’ll make it through boyhood with all the pressures, challenges, and temptations.  You and Mr. C have not only taught him how to defend himself if needed, but respect for others and himself.  It’s challenging to raise a successful child and I truly believe we would not have been as successful without our community of friends and “family.”   MARILYN  W., Mother

New Black Belts at Waldorf Martial Arts!

Saturday May 13, 2017– 7 students at Waldorf Martial Arts received their Black Belt in Taekwondo.  The students were honored at an exciting, high-energy graduation (See YouTubeWaldorf Martial Arts Channel or https://youtu.be/RJlgUhdGihk).  The candidates, who displayed their skills with split second timing and precision, treated parents, spouses and friends to an outstanding demonstration!  After the demonstration, graduates received their new Black Belts, they pledged their allegiance to Taekwondo by reciting the Taekwondo Black Belt Oath.

Each of newly appointed Black Belts have been practicing Taekwondo for at least 3 years.  One of the candidates, who received his 3rd  Degree Black Belt, have been training 8 years.

Over the past four months, the graduates have been diligently preparing for their Black Belt exam, coming to class 3 times weekly and attending monthly 2 hour mandatory workouts. Through their Taekwondo Training, they have learned the value of hard work and dedication to a goal.  Congratulations to all!
