Summer Sport and Karate Summer Camp is a fun-filled, skill-building summer camp for all kids ages 5-12. The camp is open to everyone; no previous martial arts training is required.
Our Summer Sport and Karate Camp is fast-paced, fun, and action-filled, packed with lots of excitement, and one that gives us repeat campers time and again. Kids love our Summer Sport and Karate Camp because each minute is filled with fun, safe, and meaningful activities. You will not see children standing around looking bored!

Sample Daily Schedule (What a Typical Camp Day Looks Like)
Parents love knowing exactly how their child’s day is spent. Here’s a sample schedule from our Waldorf, MD, summer karate camp:
7:00 a.m.-8:30 a.m. – Camper arrival and supervised free play, games, social time, and structured activities (electronics*+table games).
8:30 a.m.-9:10 a.m. – Team games and fitness activities, leadership games, agility drills, and cooperative challenges.
9:15 a.m.-10:55 a.m. – Organized group activities (groups will rotate through each activity).
➤ Martial arts drills and skills class #1.
➤ Arts and crafts fun.
➤ Board games, puzzles, and activity sets.
11:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. – Lunch and relaxation break (camper-provided lunch), quiet time, and social connection. Fridays include Pizza Lunch!
11:45 a.m.-3:00 p.m. – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are special activities days where the campers play team games and fitness activities, leadership games, agility drills, and cooperative challenges. Wednesday is Field Trip Day. Field trips to local parks, playground time, or pool days (weather and schedule permitting). A camp t-shirt MUST be worn on non-pool field trips.
3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. – Martial Arts Class #2: Skill development class followed by snack time (no afternoon martial arts lessons on pool days).
4:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. – Camper pickup time and supervised free play, games, social time, and structured activities (electronics*+table games).
*Electronics are allowed during morning and afternoon drop-off/pickup times. All electronics (including games and chargers) should have the camper’s name clearly marked and be the responsibility of the child. WMA will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. Any disagreement regarding whose games or whose turn, etc., will result in the device being placed on the camp director’s desk. Parents may retrieve devices during camper pickup.

The last step is to drop off your registration form at our school and to finalize your registration by making your payment to secure your child’s spot in our summer camp.
Summer Camp Fee Schedule:
Activity Fee
- One-Time Activity Fee (includes one camp shirt and all field trips): $99.
- Additional Children: $69 each.
- Nonrefundable activity fee + first week MUST be paid at time of registration to guarantee a spot in camp!
- Weekly Single Rate: $249.00/week (INCLUDES before/aftercare and field trips).
- Each additional immediate sibling is $149 per week.
- Daily Rate: $65 for regular days, $80 for Field Trip days.
Payment in full is required on the first day of each week.
What’s Needed to Guarantee a Spot in Camp?
A nonrefundable registration fee + first week MUST be paid at time of registration to guarantee a spot in camp!
Refund Policy
Please be aware that you are financially responsible for all weeks you sign up for. All money (excluding the registration fee) will be refunded if a request is made in writing and received by Waldorf Martial Arts three weeks prior to the start of the camp. 50% of the money will be refunded if the request is made in writing and received by us two weeks before the start of camp. 30% will be refunded if a written request is received one week before the start of camp. There will be NO refunds once the camp session has started.
