Waldorf Martial Arts Competition Squad traveled to Hershey, Pennsylvania on November 9^th  to compete at the 2024 Battle at Hershey Karate Tournament.  The tournament drew competitors from Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.  The Waldorf Martial Arts Squad of 8 captured the following:

Serenity Butler, 1^st Degree Black Belt—3^rd Place in Weapons, 2^nd Place in forms, and 1^st Place in Sparring

Arianna Wyatt, 1^st Degree Black Belt—2^nd Place in Sparring (same division as Serenity)

Kai Allenye, Red/Black Belt—3^rd Place in Weapons, 3^rd Place in Forms and 1^st Place in Sparring

Earl Basco, Brown Belt—Did Not Compete (DNC) in weapons, 2^nd Place in Forms and 2^nd place in Sparring

John Bassig,  Brown Belt—DNC in weapons, 1^st Place in Forms and 1^st Place in sparring

Jenard Ruiz, Brown Belt—1^st Place in Weapons, 2^nd Place in Forms, 1^st Place in Sparring, and Grand Champion in Weapons (meaning he beat all other 1^st Place weapons competitors in all youth divisions from 6 to 17 year olds!)

Johnny Aguilar, Purple Belt— DNC in weapons, 2^nd in Forms and 1^st in Sparring

Kameron Tate, Purple Belt— DNC in weapons, 3^rd in Forms and 3^rd in Sparring

For a total of:

One Grand Champion Finish

Seven 1^st Place finishes

Six 2^nd Place finishes

Five 3^rd Place finishes

19 Awards in total!
