Classes cancelled tonight due to inclement weather

Sorry folks, the county government (who owns our facility) told us we must close tonight.  In a few more weeks, we won’t have to deal with this kind of thing (when we move into our own building).   We will be open tomorrow night (Tuesday) as far as I can tell.  So, if you want to make up your class tomorrow, you can come to the 5:30 pm Dragons class (If you’re a Dragon), the Yellow/Green class at 7:15 pm (if you are blue belt or higher).  And teens can come to the 8:00 pm class.

Here’s a great holiday gift idea under $50 for just about anybody!

Holiday Party is on Friday, he 15th of December!

OOOPS! The December WMA Calendar of Events, on the left side of the page, erroneously states the Holiday Party Date as the 16th. It’s actually on the Friday the 15th. Please make a note of this!

Mrs Cavanaugh

P.S. Don’t forget we’ll be taking phone orders as well for those who can’t make it in, but ONLY during the actual sale times (10 am-5 pm). Also, we’ll be scheduling discreet pickup for items if you don’t want your child seeing their gift 😉

It’s coming! The WMA Holiday Sale!

T-minus 3 days until the WMA Holiday Sale!  The best prices of the year on gear, weapons, apparel, and more!  Plus lots of really cool gift ideas, stocking stuffers, and educational stuff.  If you haven’t yet thumbed through the Century Holiday Gift Catalog, you might want to take time now.  Lots of cool gifts for the entire family!

See you at the sale!

Mrs. & Mr. Cavanaugh

P.S. We’re  also handing out VIP passes to select students (those who worked REALLY hard in class) to get into the sale early (9:30 am) with the Black Belts.  I realize that means an 9:30 event for you as a parent, but it’s a great opportunity to beat the crowd, have a cup of coffee and a doughnut too!

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s goin down this Saturday.  Don’t miss it!

Valuable Coupons for the WMA 1 Day Holiday Sale

Dear Parents and Students,

I want to take a moment to personally thank you and your family for being a part of Waldorf Martial Arts. It’s wonderful to have your family involved in our school.

I’m writing because our Holiday Sale is fast approaching, and we’ll have a LOT of items available.  If you are new to our program, We’ll have special beginner program training packages.

If you’re an Orange or Yellow belt then you’ll be getting ready to start free-sparring pretty soon.  We’ll have great sparring gear packages on sale!

If you’ve been sparring for a while and could use some new gear, think about upgrading to our Century “P3” Package.

The Century Holiday Sale Catalog has a lot of really cool gift ideas for your entire family!  Pick one up at the school this week.  Century has re-introduced the “kicking Jeans” I had a pair back in 1977!   Back then they were called “Chuck Norris Kicking Jeans”, and we all had a pair!  These new jeans look a lot better than the ones we had! ;0)

Attached you’ll find some pretty valuable coupons that’ll help too.

It’s been our experience that children who DO get Christmas presents that further their martial arts training are more likely to be successful in our program. I mean, stuff that helps your child be more successful martial artist sure beats video games!

If you have any questions about the sale, please let me know!

Mrs. Cavanaugh

P.S. #1- You HAVE to make it in between 10 am and 5 pm. We WILL close the doors at 5 pm – just warning you 😉

P.S.#2-  We have a LOT of grandparents make orders over the phone during the Holiday Sale, but they do need to call during the hours of 10 am and 4 pm!

P.S.#3-  If you need to discreetly pick up an item because it’s a holiday gift, please let us know and we’ll schedule a time that you can come pick up your child’s gift, ninja style.

P.S.#4-   If you use the enclosed Tuition coupon, you can save hundreds of dollars on tuition by paying in full at the Holiday Sale.  Pretty crazy right? But if you can swing it, you’ll be saving a bunch of $$$ in tuition!

P.S.#5- I’ll be sending you a different flyer every day this week, previewing some of the great gifts that will be available for One-Day-Only, Nov. 18th, from 10 am-5 pm!  (Black Belts and members with VIP passes may come at 9:30 am and have coffee and pastries before you shop!)

Important Info about the WMA 1-Day Holiday Sale

I think everyone, including the kids, are really excited about the Holiday Sale. To be fair, I am too! Here’s a list of some of the most frequently needed items for students:

-Pants: We sell pants separately, so if you or your child is growing, you might be able to replace just a pair of pants instead of a whole uniform

-Sparring Gear: If you’re a new student and don’t have gear, this is the time to do it. If you’re an advanced student, be sure your gear is in good condition. If not, you can replace individual pieces (instead of buying a whole pack)

-Weapons: Elite Team students should buy the basic (cheaper) weapons. Competition Team students who are becoming proficient should look into upgraded weapons (they’re constructed better, balanced better, are lighter, are easier to use, and look great when you’re competing!)

-Tuition: Big discounts!  Need I say more!

BE SURE to pick up a Holiday Sales Catalog at the School Office.  It’s really got a lot of very cool martial arts related gifts this year!  Mr. C.  just looked through it himself,  and he’s stoked!  In the back of the catalog is a WISH LIST for your kids to complete and turn in to their instructor.  There is also an order form for you too, if you want to make your list ahead of time.

So get excited, and we’ll see you on Saturday the 18th (10 am-5 pm ONLY!)

Mrs. Cavanaugh

P.S. We also have this really cool “New Student Gift Box”. It’s a uniform and a certificate for a Month long trial of our classes, all boxed up in a classy box to put under the tree. If you know of anyone who might need a REALLY cool sub $50 gift for Christmas, could you let them know? Thanks!
